Tony is a partner in the Commercial Department and works alongside commercial partner, Tim Slack.

Tony has a wide range of experience in commercial law with specialist expertise in construction law, resource management and information technology.  He has over 20 years experience both within large and medium sized law firms and prior to joining Carter & Partners was a partner in Woodhouse Partners, where he built up a commercial based practice.

Tony’s experience encompasses drafting, reviewing and advising on contracts and commercial transactions for both publicly listed and medium sized commercial entities.  He has experience in IT contracts, business and property sales and acquisitions, financial and securities transactions, including the recent in depth experience in priority issues under the Personal Property Securities regime.
