Tim Slack is a partner in Carter & Partners and head of the Commercial Department, specialising in commercial and property law.  He has over 20 years experience, including seven years as a partner in a large provincial law firm.

He has a particular interest in advising property developers and has been the legal advisor on a wide range of property developments throughout New Zealand.  He has extensive experience in structuring property development vehicles and transactions and has advised on developments involving international joint venture partners.

His commercial law practice includes corporate restructuring, joint ventures, business acquisitions, commercial leasing and intellectual property agreements.

He advises extensively on asset protection, estate planning and trusts.

Tim is a former board member of Hawkes Bay Racing Incorporated and has been honorary solicitor to a number of non profit organisations.
