For over 40 years John has been practising as a barrister and solicitor and for the last 12 years he has been Senior Partner of Carter & Partners.

He specializes in construction, development and property work with particular expertise in arbitration, litigation and mediation of disputes acting as counsel, arbitrator and mediator in construction, engineering, property, valuation, rental/lease and insurance disputes.

John is also experienced in matrimonial property, employment, environmental, commercial and business law.
